Yes, that is possible! Your employer has the option to fully finance Jobticket+. In that case you pay nothing and save up to 756 EUR per year. It is also possible for the employer to cover part of it, in which case you pay proportionally. In any case, Jobticket+ is cheaper for you than a conventional Germany Ticket that you pay for privately.
How exactly does the pause function work, and how short notice can I use it?
The pause function allows you to pause your Jobticket+ on a monthly basis when you do not need it, for example during vacation. You can activate the pause up to 24 hours before the end of the month.
Is there a minimum number of employees who must use Jobticket+ for it to be worthwhile for our company?
No, TicketPlus+ is suitable for companies of any size. Even small teams can benefit from the advantages. There is no minimum number of participants.
Can part-time employees and mini-jobbers also get Jobticket+?
Yes, Jobticket+ is generally available to all employees regardless of their employment status. The only requirement is that your employer covers at least 25% of the costs.
How is Jobticket+ handled for tax purposes, and what role does our tax advisor play?
Your employer is legally required to provide a tax-free subsidy of at least 25%. Beyond that, the company can implement Jobticket+ as a salary sacrifice, salary increase, or as a 100% subsidy. Since tax aspects are individual, we recommend that your employer consult a tax advisor. TicketPlus+ provides transparent documentation that simplifies payroll accounting.

What are the cancellation periods for Jobticket+?
The cancellation period for companies is the 10th of the previous month. Thanks to the pause function, individual employees can flexibly pause their ticket on a monthly basis.

The registration process is very quick: Registration and uploading data usually takes only about 10 minutes. After that, the ticket is immediately available.
What may take longer is the internal decision of the management to introduce Jobticket+. You can support us here by following up internally on a regular basis.
*How to get your Germany Ticket for 0 EUR:
Your employer can introduce Jobticket+ and must pay 59.85 EUR gross per month (63 EUR minus 5% discount) for it. However, they can pass part of these costs on to you as an employee — this is at your employer's discretion. Your employer is legally required to provide a tax-free commuter subsidy of at least 25% (14.50 EUR) per month. In addition, there is a contribution of 1 EUR per employee that your employer must pay. This means your employer covers at least 15.50 EUR per Jobticket+ per month. Your own share for the ticket may legally be a maximum of 40.60 EUR (55.10 EUR – 14.50 EUR). In the best case, you do not have to pay anything at all if your employer voluntarily covers 100% of the costs for Jobticket+. Then your Germany Ticket costs 0 EUR per month and you save 756 EUR (=12x63 EUR) per year. Billing is done monthly via a consolidated invoice that includes all used tickets. The commuter subsidy can be paid tax-free and does not reduce the tax-free non-cash benefit. Subject to changes and errors.
